Carnets - Jupyter 1.8.4

Jupyter notebooks are a powerful tool widely used in education and research. They allow users to write small snippets of Python code and immediately observe the output on the screen, along with the ability to combine code with paragraphs of text using Markdown.

Carnets offers a comprehensive and independent implementation of Jupyter notebooks. Unlike other platforms, Carnets operates entirely on your device, utilizing the embedded Python interpreter. This means that you do not need an internet connection to use Carnets. Furthermore, users have the option to choose between the traditional Jupyter notebooks or the more advanced JupyterLab by adjusting the settings.

Carnets comes pre-installed with a variety of essential packages including Numpy, Sympy, Matplotlib, Pandas, lxml, bokeh, nbextensions, and more. To explore the complete list of installed packages, simply type "%pip list" in a code window. Additionally, users have the flexibility to install additional packages by utilizing "%pip install packageName," as long as they are compatible with pure Python.

If you require packages such as scipy, seaborn, or scikit-learn, we recommend using our other application called "Carnets - Jupyter (with scipy)."

In addition to its robust functionality, Carnets also allows for easy collaboration as users can share their notebooks with other applications and open notebooks or directories managed by other apps.
